Science and cross cultural communication

DR MARGARET BYRNE ADDRESSES SCIENCE LEADERS

Since 2003, UGM has contributed a module on cross cultural communication as part of the Graduate Diploma in Science Communication, run each year through the National Science and Technology Centre and the ANU. Our work helps to prepare 20 young scientists every year to deliver the award-winning outreach program, ‘The Science Circus’, to more than 100,000 people in regional, rural and remote communities around Australia. This program is the result of a long standing partnership between Shell, the National Science Centre and the ANU. UGM is proud to support this initiative.
